Getting behind the bid.

At some point you have to pick a true allegiance to something, and often it is already a lost cause. In the end though, you are not dead, you are sitting around on a beach watching children led by their mothers into the sea for the first time and thinking cool, The World Cup in Australia would be a nice thing,
I might write another football poem, should be a breeze,

Now that would be amazing have the World Cup in Australia – the world would have turned upside down.

I’m not sure about the world cup here in Australia. But all those extra visitors might be fun.

I am suspicious of words like ‘Australia’ when they are used next door to adjectival ‘ins’, unless of course we wish to be the proud and rightful holders of a World Cup as we watch and welcome mothers and their fathers and their children from the sea.

You are alive…I was starting to wonder.. 🙂 Good luck on the tickets.

first sentence –> thought following:
I was watching Across the Universe a few days ago, which if you haven’t seen it, is a stunning film. Vietnam-era New York, and Jude, our main guy, seems to be the only person in the world that has no cause to fight for and therefore almost no reason to exist, other than to experience the effects of the societal battles around him.
It’s kind of a drag to not have a cause.

I’d like the tickets, but only if they’re for the World Cup.

But allegiances tend to remain true only as far as they are required! Do the tickets also include airfare 😉 hahaha
