  1. Beside the creative and amazing proposal you made, which reminded me of a book from the writer of the “World According to Garp”, which happens in a circus in India, at least that is who it starts, great book that one.
    Maybe:
-music,poetry,writing,theater,dance,painting,drawing,sculpture, the stamps made with press involving different amount of colors and materials in the making. Some, not all of the so called installations. Spontaneous art. Innovative dressing incorporated to everyday life. Hair dressing that includes spray. Staying in original postures for 2 minutes at times. And many many others we will think about.
I loved this post paul, take care

  2. I love, love, love this post too! However I feel that I really can’t pay proper respect to your words, when all descriptions of appropriate praise seem to have at this moment abandoned me.

Perhaps I can just say that I would most definitely back the government supporting ‘wish arts’ … along with elephant-less circi with free entry…

Mmm… See I really wanted to praise your words, and all I seem to have done is repeat your words straight back to you… I hope you know I’m in awe of your work Paul!!

  3. Mine.

As long as they give it away and it talks about the true possibility of creativity and joy, respect and compassion, in a way that entertains and rewards, I don’t care who makes it, Dr Tom.

  4. I agree 100% my friend. Dr. B

  5. Awesome – I will print this out and put it on the fridge.

  6. Well then I wish it WAS up to you! 🙂

  7. Well and wonderfully said. 🙂

  8. wish ones

ahhh I could & would follow those two words anywhere

  9. There were elephants strolling in the gardens last year and children sat under their bellies to get out of the sun. People hugged them and wondered more. And it was free.

  10. circi du Soleil?

trying to figure out a way to transfer my US tax dollars to you, sir… the elephants running around the circi in Washington remind me too much of Phineas Taylor Barnum; and they have none of his charm or showmanship…

    splendid tightrope walking, as usual…

  11. “Awesome – I will print this out and put it on the fridge.”

Isn’t that just the highest compliment one could receive? I am jumping on this trend – to my fridge you go!

  12. Haha, great!

It’d be an animal-free circus if I were running the show… but (thankfully?) I’m not. Or am I? (such questions arise when you’ve little or no sleep)

  13. loved this one Po!
