Unaccustomed as I am to public schpeaking and fiddling nervously with my green felt hat, not I admit untipsy, and on this most illustrious of occasions, this champagne bottle breaking on the hull of a sleek clipper, this cutting of ribbons of time across bridges, this birthday most literal my love,
And in the company of friends from across the world,
there is no truth but beauty
and the world is beautiful
and the truth is in (you).
the magician the artist the priest
agrees, they do not exist without (you)
and the soundtrack is a redemption song,
sung by Smokey Robinson,

if you got the notion,
ohh
