living the cliche, the artist muse model cruise ship,
something has to sparkle, jewellery you recognise
from previous vague description suddenly alive
two silver wings in rhyme and no apparent ballast
in this ever wondrous paradox whilst
whispering the rope into ever stranger knots
Double Happiness Helix

(I do not want a simple happiness, a broad flat smug contentment…
I am wanting happiness whhish is delicate ornate, an elegantly complex
symettrical fractal made/unmade with tiny fragments of mercury a’moiling
set in escher structures made of gold and bones of birds
a complicated happiness containing infinite intrigue,
variations convoluted wrapped around the impossibly ephemeral
contained within a puzzle box encrypted with the algorhythm
of the flight path of the dragonfly when pictured in a mosque mosaic.
…. a happiness which concentrates a sound when
the summer breeze blows through it, a hollow whistling song
in which cause and consequence remain completely unrelated….
A happiness resulting in dissolution or explosion
with neither of us knowing on what that ending
will depend.

Somewhere where
words ‘n music merge
fracturing light thru language
like elementary candelabra
through circumstance, accidents
and incidents, Cezanne
chaosrainbows crescent
the true prismatic architecture
of jewellery, crown
‘emotion in miniature,
when a tiny thief giggling
wings like a dragon
flies in whispering
due to dues owed,
happenstance, ‘appiness
and incidents,
she is within this light
weddinged and bounded
and boundaried by bliss.

various odd bods the jeweller said
slipping his card into my pocket
somewhere there the necessity
for radical departures
it’s a tiny jewel he said on
a later occassion, set in
mother of pearl a kiss by
Klimt fallen half-seen
into a sea of soft pink
skin trimmed
with white lace,

one pope’s in as one pops out
each moment eternal
radiates
once again confabulates.
star light is real, boy, he said
it left before you were here
and after you are gone
it continues
one pope’s in
and one pops out,
some they sing
and some just shout,
